How do we work with interim managers before being commissioned by a D-A-CH company?
At TH Bender Interim, a project begins with coordinating the scope, objectives, location, and duration of the assignment together with our client.
Once the requirements are clear, we will contact you if your experience is a good fit for the assignment. If there is mutual interest—including availability and compensation rate—we will ask you to sign a confidentiality agreement.
You agree to this option for seven (7) business days while we present your anonymized profile to the customer.
If you are shortlisted, your contact details will be passed on for a direct interview. We take care of all contractual matters: the client signs a contract with TH Bender Interim, and you sign a separate agreement with us.
There is no direct contract between you and the customer.

The application process
At TH Bender Interim, we place great importance on a clear and efficient process—both for candidates and clients. Our application and selection process is clearly structured:
1
Apply online
Submit your application using the form. Please upload a tabular resume (preferably in Word or PDF format).
2
Profile review & initial consultation
Our team will review your background and key qualifications. If your experience matches our current or anticipated requirements, we will invite you to a personal interview with one of our talent consultants.
3
Creation of the executive profile
If we reach an agreement after the interview, we will send you a template to fill out. This document will serve as your professional profile and will be used to introduce you to potential clients.
4
Customer presentation & interview
If a client is interested in your profile, we coordinate the interviews and ensure that you are fully informed about the position and the process.
Insurance & Commitment Structure
For assignments in the USA, interim executives are expected to have general liability insurance and professional liability insurance (E&O). Depending on the assignment, additional insurance (e.g., workers' compensation or cyber insurance) may be required. These policies are usually available at short notice.
We prefer to work with candidates who operate through their own legal entity (e.g., LLC, S-Corp, or C-Corp). Sole proprietors may also apply, but must meet all legal and insurance requirements.
A valid work permit is required for the country in which the assignment takes place. Requirements may vary depending on the location.
A career that grows with you
Working as an interim executive offers you the unique opportunity to make a real difference quickly. You take on leadership positions at the highest level, solve complex challenges, and drive change where it is most urgently needed. The work is dynamic, flexible, and extremely fulfilling.
Not everything has to be figured out on the first day—we'll be there to help and support you every step of the way.
