Tilman has decades of life and professional experience in Chicago, Texas, and New York, and is now based in the Washington, DC metropolitan area—in close proximity to three international airports. With extensive expertise in the US, Canada, Asia, and Europe, he has personally led hundreds of successful executive searches since 1997. As the hands-on founder of his firm, he is responsible for client relationships and drives strategic initiatives aimed at providing fast and pragmatic solutions to urgent leadership needs.

Tilman began his international career as an intern at a Stuttgart-based consulting firm that supported companies in their expansion into the US. After graduating, he worked for a German-Chinese manufacturer of electrical products in Hong Kong. In the early 1990s, he first moved to Houston, Texas, before settling in Chicago, where he worked for a German-American personnel consulting firm and a Fortune 500 personnel consulting firm. His passion is for small and medium-sized businesses—in particular, the special interests and challenges of German-speaking companies in America. This focus was the impetus for founding a consulting firm specializing in serving German-speaking companies.
